A procedure was developed for the separate solvent extraction-spectrophotometric determination of aniline and phenol. The most favorable extraction systems are recommended for extracting aniline and phenol from water. Detection limits for aniline are at a level of maximum permissible concentrations (MPCs), and the detection limit for phenol is about 0.005 mg/mL.
