Excited two-photon coherent state of the radiation field

摘要
A non-classical state \beta, m](eg) ofthe radiation held, which we call the excited two-photon coherent state, is defined by m-times applying the photon creation operator on Yuen's two-photon coherent state \beta](g). Its squeezing and sub-Poissonian character are demonstrated. Its generalized quasiprobability distribution functions in the \beta](g) representation are obtained and compared with those of the state \beta](g) and the Agarwal-Tara excited coherent state \beta, m]. It is observed that the \beta, m](eg) exhibits remarkable non-classical properties differing from those of \beta](g) and \beta, m].
