摘要：
Various designs of strainers in the control valves of steam turbines are introduced. The theoretical pressure loss on the strainer is compared with the real pressure loss. The share of the pressure loss on the strainer in the pressure loss of the whole valve is determined. The need of using the strainer is assessed.
