Complex modifiers for the improvement of protective properties of silicon-organic coatings

摘要
Using the results of electrochemical and impedance investigations, we have established that the introduction of modified zinc phosphate to the composition of silicon-organic prime coat, commonly applied for the painting of steel main pipelines at the outlet of gas-compressor stations, improves its protective properties and increases the corrosion resistance of the metal. We also have shown that the introduction of a mixture of modified zinc phosphate with fine filler (omiacarb) to the composition of silicon-organic coatings enables one to improve their protective properties.
