We experimentally implement a pair of golay complementary sequences with variable length and frequency. The generated complementary sequences can be applied into pipeline detection. The two-dimensional image of the pipeline is obtained by the correlation method and back projection algorithm. The results show that the pipeline can be located by using this system.
