Directional Transfer of Genetic Multiple Allele Inherited Male Sterile Line in Brassica Campestris L. ssp Chinensis

摘要
In order to develop a new male sterile line for hybrid seed production in Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis, a multiple allele inherited male sterile gene was transferred from `GMS107', a male sterile line, to IR033-3', a doubled haploid line. Simultaneously, recurrent backcrossing was employed to transfer the botanical traits, while the genotype was identified through test cross. A new male sterile line `GMS103' with 100% male sterility and male sterile plants was developed. `GMS103' was similar to `LR033-3' in botanical characters. Several excellent hybrids were developed, whose female parent was `GMS103'.
