摘要：
The stone arch bridges in China have been a brilliant pearl in the five thousand years of civilization. Since the foundation of P.R. China, many important innovations and developments have been achieved in the stone arch bridge technology. In the recent thirty years, the ribbed barrel stone arch bridges have been created based on the new design theory of "plane-hinged", which brings a benefit of saving 30% of the masonry work. It also makes the traditional stone arch bridges have a brand-new outward appearance.
