This paper reports the anomalous behavior of unloaded quality factor (Q(u)) of high T-c superconducting (HTSC) microstrip resonator in weak de magnetic field (B-dc) The Q(u) behavior increases with the elevated applied B-dc but beyond the certain B-dc value, decreases linearly with B-dc. We speculate that this behavior may be caused by edge effect. The behavior is modeled both by the coupled-grain model accounting for a distribution of the grain dimension and Coffey-Clem model.
