摘要
The relevance of the study is due to the waste management and environmental safety issues at the territory of the Arctic zone of Russia. Some of these problems could be solved in the process of creating and operating of eco-industrial parks on the basis of a project approach. The purpose of the article is to systematize the ideas on the possibilities of applying project management for the development of eco-industrial parks in the Arctic zone of Russia. The article clarifies the concept of "eco-industrial park" in the framework of relevant Russian legislation and practice. The classification of eco-industrial parks has been developed taking into account different characteristics, including content of main waste flow and type of processing technology. The main challenges for the implementation of the project approach on the territory of the Arctic zone of Russia are indicated. The results of the research are of practical importance for public authorities, the governing body and residents of eco-industrial parks, specialists in the field of waste management, scientists studying the environmental and economic aspects of the Arctic zone of Russia.
