Detection of microcalcifications in digital mammograms images using wavelet transform

摘要
It is presented the development of algorithm for microcalcifications detection in mammography images using Wavelet Transform. We have proposed a computerized scheme detection microcalcifications clusters in the mammography images. The experimental results have shown the advantages and drawbacks of the detection algorithm. There are used images of the MIAS database with microcalcifications presence that permits to prove the proposed algorithm.
