REGULATED BUSINESS PROCESS MODELING

In this paper we deal with relatively simple question: What business process modeling language to use when capturing regulated business processes? We start with an analysis of current research, which does not provide us with a clear answer, and so we define a real world example scenario and analyze what issues the standard business process languages have in case of the regulated business processes. We discuss the available solutions and select the Process State Diagram (PSD) as the solution which can deal efficiently with the identified issues and allows clear capturing of the defined real world example scenario.
