IMPLEMENTATION OF A NATIONWIDE PROJECT AIMED AT INDIVIDUALIZATION OF TEACHING IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS PILOT STUDY EVALUATION

Due to changes in educational system in Poland, Ministry of Education, initiated a nationwide project 'Individualisation of the process of educating and teaching in primary school years 1-3'. It remains as 'the key element of the education policy' and sets in the context of the implementation of the new core curriculum for general education. The systemic project demonstrates through the various actions undertaken within it what different meanings can be ascribed to the idea of individualisation. This article presents the results of a qualitative survey, performed in ten primary schools, which show various models of project execution aimed at implementation of the idea of individualisation of methodology of teaching into the school practice.
