摘要
This paper aims to summarize the quality and productivity mathematical models that are implemented in the industry and their applications. Nowadays, the industrial sector has put more focus on the quality and productivity assessment altogether. This is because it represents an important indicator of a company's profit and performance. Quality and productivity need to be quantitatively measurable in the industry especially in the automated flow line to help engineers to achieve customers' demand. There are numerous quantitative methods that have been studied by previous researchers in order to find the appropriate combination of quality and productivity assessment. Examples of quality assessment include philosophy model, framework model, and mathematical model. Meanwhile, for productivity assessment, this review will focus on mathematical modeling only. The application of quality and productivity assessment has been explored by taking few case studies from the automotive industries.
