摘要
We study a fuzzy graph with a crisp vertex set and a fuzzy edge set. In this paper, an approach to determine fuzzy chromatic number of fuzzy graphs based on partitioning the vertex set into fuzzy independent vertex sets has been used. By using this method, we investigate a generalization of chromatic number of join crisp graphs into fuzzy chromatic number of join fuzzy graphs and prove an associated property. Further, an apllication of fuzzy chromatic number in a traffic light system is proposed.
