摘要：
In dogs, it has been difficult to design reliable fertile estrus induction (EI) protocols and hormonal induction of estrus cycles have shown poor results. The main EI protocols including dopaminergic agonist drugs (bromocrpitine, cabergoline and metergolina) are reviewed in this article. Hypotheses of the mechanism of action of dopaminergic agonists on EI are briefly described and a short discussion about the importance of dopaminergic agonists in canine reproduction performance is also included.
