摘要
This research investigates the efforts of marketing decision-makers in the financial services industry (savings & loan associations) to manage their environments during the turbulent period of deregulation. Two distinct forms of savings & loan governance, stock and mutual, suggest different orientations toward the environment and therefore towards strategic action aimed at managing that environment. The study found general support for the notion that form of governance was a significant factor in the use of environmental management strategies. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Inc.
