Theoretical and experimental analysis of dual-band circularly polarized microstrip patch antenna

摘要：
Design, analysis and experimental test of dual-band circularly polarized (CP) microstrip patch antenna are presented. Effects of inserting slits at the edge of antenna to obtain dual-band and loading slot at center of patch to achieve circular polarized radiation also are discussed. Dual-band radiation also can be achieved by inserting four T-shape slots instead of rectangular slots. HFSS high frequency simulator is used for analysis of the antenna. The antenna is implemented on a FR4 substrate with permittivity about 4.1 and thickness 1.6 of millimeter. Theoretical results are in good agreement with experimental results.
