摘要
The purpose of this study was the identification of factors, which might have an influence on the effectiveness of inpatient stroke rehabilitation. In order to do that, a group of 68 patients treated in the specialized unit for stroke rehabilitation was analysed. The effectiveness of rehabilitation was evaluated by the increase of the modified Barthel Index (BI) during the treatment. According to the increase of BI, three groups of patients reflecting the effectiveness of rehabilitation were formed. The differences in factors which might have an influence on the effectiveness of rehabilitation between these three groups were analysed. The results indicated that the greatest improvement may be expected in younger patients with hemorrhagic stroke, even if they had a clinically very severe stroke.
