摘要
We have measured neutron energy spectra emitted from the weak decay of He-5(Lambda) and C-12(Lambda) produced via (pi(+),K+) reaction. The most serious problem in such a nucleon measurement is energy distortion due to the final state interaction (FSI). Furthermore, recently the 2N induced decay process, ANN --> nNN, have been predicted in theoretical calculation. Both processes tend to enhance low energy region. While proton energy measurement suffers from energy loss in the target, the neutron energy measurement is advantageous to observe the shape of low energy part. The neutron energy spectrum from the lightest hypernucleus of He-5(Lambda), which is most suitable for minimizing FSI effect, is measured for the first time.
