摘要：
In this paper, the qualitative behavior and exact travelling wave solutions of the Zhiber-Shabat equation are studied by using qualitative theory of polynomial differential system. The phase portraits of system are given under different parametric conditions. Some exact travelling wave solutions of the Zhiber-Shabat equation are obtained.
