The physical mechanism of interbranch scattering of X-rays in an elastically-bent crystal

摘要
In the case of symmetrical Laue-diffraction, the system of differential equations describing X-ray interbranch scattering is obtained for a crystal with the bend of parabolic form. If is shown that interbranch exchange is due to the dynamical interaction of eikonal modes, which determine completely the X-ray intrabranch scattering. it is concluded that interbranch scattering is strong only in a crystal region, where multiple X-ray coherent scattering is essential The properties of X-ray interbranch scattering are studied for a large deformation, when the kinematical-diffraction regime takes place.
