The effect of resonant four-wave-mixing on electromagnetically induced transparency in Λ-type system employing a two-photon field

摘要
Four-wave-mixing has been considered in a A-type system to make clear the asymmetry occurred in EIT profile which had been realized experimentally in Phys. Rev. A 52 (1995) 2302. We present both analytical and numerical calculation to explain the reason. In the case of Doppler-free for the two-photon probe field, why EIT dip was not detected is also been demonstrated.
