摘要
A cross-connected capacitors boost converter is presented in this paper, which is more advantageous than conventional boost converter. This boost converter offers high voltage gain with low ripple content. Initially steady-state analysis and state-space models of the cross-connected capacitors boost converter are established and analyzed leading to transfer function formulation. Further the optimized design values for the energy storage elements of the converter was explored. The design values of the energy storage components are optimized using the MATLAB optimization toolbox with `fgoalattain' solver to reduce the up-down glitch in the higher order converter. This problem normally occurs in the higher order converters because of the presence of complex poles and zeroes in their transfer functions. In the transfer function the origin of an updol%n glitch is realized and its effect on the system performance is also discussed. Here 12 V, 25 W converter is examined and the results are obtained. Later, the obtained results are compared with the optimized results through simulation.
