摘要
A simulation of a transportation network and its internal operational sequences (processes) helps to evaluate different predefined alternatives before bringing it into the real world. The plurality of how shipping processes can be characterised in combination with stochastic influences like congestion or breakdowns increases the complexity of the simulation model extensively. This work deals with the flexible implementation of transportation networks into a simulation model and realizing scenarios. It delves into the simulation of transportation networks using an alternative modelling approach and the automatic creation of an executable simulation model.
