摘要
A computational procedure is employed to predict velocity fields in hydrocyclones with different geometries operating under a wide range of conditions. A method for predicting particle trajectories in hydrocyclones and their separation efficiency is demonstrated. The influence of design and operational variables on hydrocyclones performance is analyzed. The computed results are compared with available experimental data showing quite good agreement.
