摘要
The aim of the study was to investigate the teaching strategies practiced in Private Higher Education Institutions of an Educational Group in Brazil due to the pandemic of COVID-19. The research adopted a quantitative approach and used a closed questionnaire sent to 60 managers of Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) of an Educational Group in Brazil (EGB) as a data collection instrument. The study reports that the EGB PHEIs had already adopted 20% in distance learning and when implementing remote classes, the observed difficulties were minimal for the teachers, having been more felt by the students. The research also reveals that when deciding for synchronous classes, he maintained a proximity between teachers and students, which proved to be very useful in the moment of uncertainty, when he left the classroom for remote teaching in a comprehensive way. It is concluded that the EGB PHEIs were strategic and took the lead in the process of remote classes, avoiding the loss of students in the academic semester, continuing classes and in the teaching-learning process, showing a capacity to reinvent themselves at a time when companies seek better ways to operate in the market, without losing the quality of the services provided.
