Technical communicators need to "manage" the impressions we create in our projects. If we apply theoretical concepts while creating any piece, we can effectively communicate the intended message. Communication theories are a crucial tool for today's technical communicator. The message that we, the sender, intend to send can, and will be, the message that is received.
