摘要
Since the beginning of Traction supply system power losses, voltage fluctuation are the main concern, as there are large number of reactive elements in the system like transformer converters, motors etc. and also there are many locomotive loads connected to the traction line fed by subsystem at the same time may result in drop in voltage gives incompetent operation of system. So to overcome the fluctuation in parameters and voltage dip problem some compensation scheme has to be used. This paper represents the simulation of traction supply system in which compensation technique have been used to maintain the desired parameters by using FACTS devices like TCSC, SVC.
