Materials for noise and vibration attenuation

摘要
This paper reviews construction principles and various materials used for production of noise and vibration dumping systems important in technical practice. Relations between material characteristics and end-use dumping properties are discussed. Basic physical parameters and their definitions are summarized. Suitable polyurethane/polybutadiene binder systems based on the liquid rubber Krasol(TM) are presented.
