摘要
A novel rhodamine-based fluorescent probe was designed and synthesized. The probe exhibited highly selective and sensitive recognition toward Hg2+ over other metal ions, which can be used for 'naked-eyes' detection. In addition, fluorescence imaging experiments of Hg2+ in living cells and living animal demonstrated their valuable application in biological systems. Meanwhile, we performed theoretical calculations for researching the reaction mechanism between probe and Hg2+. (C) 2015 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
