摘要
The article addresses the problem of the performance of graduate student of psychology under the current dynamics of Mexican higher education based on competencies, the focus of the research is the graduate students of the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). With the results of the General Examination for the Exit of the Bachelors Degree (EGEL) of the National Center for the Evaluation of Higher Education (Ceneval), academic and personal variables of the students are compared between UABC campuses, particularly because psychology in this university considers two different curricula between academic units. The results direct the understanding of the way in which personal and academic variables have a low influence on student outcomes under a national standard and give the opportunity to analyze some other ways of identifying the factors that relate to the results shown by the psychology graduates.
