The Relationship Between Corporate Governance and Corporate Performance-An Empirical Study of Chinese Listed Companies

摘要
The relationship between corporate governance and corporate performance has always been a controversial subject in research on corporate governance. This paper selects listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2012 to 2013 as samples, empirical analysis the relationship of the corporate governance structure and corporate performance through the principal component analysis of enterprise performance indicators. The results show that the comprehensive performance is positively related to the size of the board of directors and the concentration of ownership. The comprehensive performance is negatively correlated with the capital structure, the proportion of institutional investors and the proportion of independent directors.
