摘要
This article explores the intelectual and artistic route followed by Mario de Andrade based on some of his most important critic readers observing the period between 1917-1921. It is in the end of this period that Mario de Andrade wrote Pauliceia desvairada a major work that precedes the Brazilian Modern Art Week of 1922.
