摘要
The approach reducing average velocity of propagation by decreasing the volume ratio of explosives is presented. The pressure generated by the transmitted shock wave is utilized to initiate the next explosive fragment rather than the delay line. From the results of experiments the criteria of stable initiation for the explosive was clear and the minimum average velocity was obtained around at the criteria. The relation between the volume ratio of the explosive and the reduction rate of average velocity of detonations was also found. The numerical simulations were performed to figure out the details of the wave propagation and evaluated the initiating pressure required to sustained detonations.
