摘要
A new variant of multilayered coatings based on Ti-Hf-Si-N/NbN/Al2O3, which is patented, was developed. Coatings were prepared by several deposition techniques as plasma-detonation and vacuum-arc deposition using evaporation of the cathode. Nanocomposite coatings have a size of nanograins from 14-17 nm to 28-53 micron, high hardness from 21 to 56 GPa. The main advantage of such nano- and microstructure coating is a low coefficient of friction. Additionally the formation in the aluminum oxide and in the steel surface layer of transition zone with the formation of nanoscale phase and high value of hardness was detected.
