Planar optical microcavities based on color centers in lithium fluoride

摘要
The modal-field theory is applied to study the potential performances of an optical planar dielectric microcavity based on active color centers in a lithium-fluoride layer. Experimental angular distributions of the emitted intensity for a low-energy-electron-irradiated lithium-fluoride microcavity are compared with theoretical predictions.
