摘要
Historical knowledge is an indispensable component in the construction of an individual's identity, so it is up to teachers to transmit historical knowledge to 21st century students, developing skills in the field of History, capturing their interest and using resources like digital technologies. This research describes a project regarding the preparation of an app based on history and local heritage from Sao Miguel (Azores). It is intended to verify whether active methodologies of content production contribute to producing historical knowledge, based on local heritage and history and through hybrid learning environments. The research is being developed in a public Azorean school, with students from Secondary Education. This investigation intends to study possible scenarios and alternative learning designs, seeking to understand the importance of this project for the development of students' historical understanding as well as self-learning skills, and all stages of the project and a reflection on the students' initial motivation to participate in the project.
