摘要
The ability to evaluate the physic and mechanical characteristics (elastic modulus, hardness, and strength) of isotropic pyrographite by dynamic indentation has been shown. The reliability of the technique was confirmed by independent tests with the use of the ultrasonic method. The correlation between the physic and mechanical characteristics determined by dynamic indentation and those estimated by the standard destructive tests has been established. The proposed method not only allows one to omit the preparation of the standard samples; it also allows the inspection of the final isotropic pyrographite-based products during their use without violating their integrity.
