Chemical Constituents of Methanol and n-Hexane Extracts of Zosimia absinthifolia (Seeds)

摘要
The methanol and n-hexane extract of Zosimia absinthifolia (Vent.) Link. (family: Umbelliferae) were investigated for their chemical composition. The compositions of methanol extract were separated by CC and TLC methods and those structures were elucidated by UV, H-1- and C-13-NMR, HMBC, and IR spectra. Three flavonoid components were identified in the methanol extracts of the Z. absinthifolia. The hexane extract was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Sixteen compounds representing 94.5 % of the hexane extract were identified, among them n-octyl acetate (36.7 %), octyl propanoate (32.5 %), decane (3.5 %), angelicin (3.4 %) and umbelliferone (2.8 %) were the major constituents.
