Single-drop extraction versus solid-phase microextraction for the analysis of VOCs in water

摘要
Single-drop extraction (SIDE) and solid-phase microextraction were compared for the isolation of trace organic pollutants from aqueous samples. Both techniques were found to be rapid and reliable. Adequate repeatability for both extraction techniques was obtained, with RSD values ranging from 2.5-5.2%. SDE in combination with gas chromatography-electron capture detection shows potential for the analysis of chlorocompounds in water.
