摘要：
With the development of petroleum industry, produced water is more and more. It will cause serious pollution to the environment if we discharge it without treatment. Besides, produced water has a complex quality and it makes the treatment more difficult. This paper reviewed the characteristics of oil produced wastewater, the recent development of treatment technologies for it and presented the future research direction.
