摘要
In a pair of coupled donor-acceptor conjugated polymer chains, it is possible for an exciton photoexcited on the donor polymer to decay into a free charge in the donor polymer's valence (conduction) band and a charge of opposite sign in the conduction (valence) band of the acceptor polymer. We calculate the corresponding exciton decay rate as a function of the energy gap of the acceptor polymer. We also study the effect of the distance between the two polymers on the charge transfer rate. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
