摘要
The mass balance partial differential equation, being deterministic, was transformed into a Feynman-Kac differential equation, which is stochastic in nature, by employing some enabling but safe assumptions. The stochastic parameter kappa was determined and found to be zero. This is a requirement for the applicability of the stochastic model to reservoir simulation.
