摘要
A linen fabric and a linen nonwoven (surface mass 150 and 85 g/m(2), resp.) were covered with nanolignin by multiple padding optionally in presence of a silicone emulsion (conc. 5% to 50%) to improve the antibacterial and UV barrier properties of the textiles. The nanolignin (grain size up to 40 nm) was produced by ultrasound disintegration of kraft lignin. The covering with the nanolignin and silicone emulsion resulted in an increase in the UV protection factor of, the textiles from 5 up to 50. Antibacterial activity against 8 strains was evidenced.
