摘要
Edge detection acts a vital part in the region of medical images. The detection results influence doctors' estimate. Extracting the edges using the differential operator is a common way. Fractional differential operator acts better than traditional first order and second order differential operator. We proposed a new edge detection method based on the classical G-L definition. Experiments show that our new fractional differential method can not only effectively extract the edges of medical images but also restrain the noise well.
