摘要
Homogeneous copolymerization of acrylamide and sodium 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane-sulfonate was carried out in water-ethanol mixtures at pH 9 in the presence of potassium peroxosulfate as promoter in the temperature range 40-70 degrees C. The copolymerization kinetics and molecular characteristics of the copolymers formed were studied in relation to the composition of water-ethanol mixtures, reagent concentrations, temperature, and degree of monomer conversion.
