摘要
The frequency diverse array (FDA) exploits an offset in the transmitted frequency of each array element to generate a beampattern that varies as a function of angle and range. This article proposes a piecewise frequency offset based on a simple trigonometric form. It is shown that the proposed offset offers improved peak-to-sidelobe ratio (PSR) performance and achieves a narrower mainlobe compared to other common frequency offset forms.
