摘要
Given the changing demography of work, it will become important in most developed countries to encourage older workers to remain at work longer and to ensure that working longer does not damage their health then or in later retirement. Surveys of the self-reported health of working and recently working people in Britain suggest that they stress is one of the major challenges that they and their organisations face. This paper considers the management of work-related stress in relation to the health of older workers, and describes the risk management approach developed and used in both private and public sector organisations in Britain and elsewhere by the Institute of Work, Health Organisations.
