Effect of shadowing on deposition efficiency and dendrites morphology in fibrous filters

摘要
Analytical models of aerosol particles deposition are founded on single-fiber concept and neglect the effect of non-uniform filter structure on the fluid flow field and filtration efficiency. As it was shown in recently published papers this effect can be significant. The fluid dynamics model is based on analytical solution of two-dimensional Oseen equation for the flow near two cylindrical fibres, using Fourier-Bessel expansion. For modeling of aerosol particles displacement the algorithm of Brownian Dynamics was used.
