摘要
Novel benzimidazole derivatives are synthesized by the reaction of 2-substituted 1,3-bis(dimethyl-amino)-trimethinium salts with 2-aminobenzimidazole in the presence of acetic acid or triethylamine in acetonitrile as the solvent. The ultraviolet spectral behavior of these compounds is examined in DMSO. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
